Daniel Germani launches new Dekton colours during World Design Summit

Last week, over 130 individuals from the architecture and design community attended the official Dekton by Cosentino new colour launch event held at the Cosentino City Montreal Showroom, located in the heart of Old Montreal. Five new colours were introduced to the Canadian market including three additions to the highly anticipated Industrial Collection. Renowned architect and collaborator of the new series, Daniel Germani, attended the event, officially launching the new colours in Canada.

Two additional colours were also added to Dekton’s 40+ colour offerings. Opera and Natura, part of Dekton’s existing Natural and XGloss collections, are inspired by natural marble and distinctly replicate the look of those sought-after natural stones.

The Dekton colour launch event took place concurrently with Cosentino’s involvement with the inaugural World Design Summit. Cosentino was the global event’s official presenting partner for the landscape architecture discipline, an ideal fit for the company who has pioneered the innovative interior/exterior ultra-compact surface with Dekton.

During the congress portion of the event, an engaging industry keynote was given by Daniel Germani titled: ‘The Changing Perception of Beauty: Materials that Reinterpret Standards’. The presentation focused on the Dekton brand and the how the innovative surface material is changing the way the world views surface design. See the full presentation here: http://bit.ly/2ljGK4z

Cosentino’s presence at the World Design Summit expanded beyond the Congress with an outdoor-inspired display at the World Design Summit Expo, focusing on Dekton by Cosentino products and the brand’s outdoor application capabilities.

The World Design Summit ran from Oct. 16 – Oct. 25, 2017. The global event forecasted over 4,500 delegates and attendees from more than 80 countries, all focusing on six design disciplines including: Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design and Urban Planning.
